Shaykh ‘Alee al Haddaadee

As Salaamu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatahu, to proceed:

Congratulations on being granted the great success of repenting to Allah and returning to Him, for indeed this is truly a great blessing, a great gift that few are given, and a lot are prohibited from. I ask Allaah that He allows all of us return to Him in repentance and dependence.

My noble brother, the well known contemporary term ‘Iltizaam’ [adherence to/ practice of the Sunnah] is not known from the Book of Allaah, the Sunnah, or the statements of the Salaf. This is why instead of using it, I will use the legislated term [i.e. guidance] which is more suitable as well as having a better meaning.

Indeed being guided to uprightness with its understanding today – that a person who was deficient in the rights of his Lord, a person who was neglectful of a lot of obligations, one who used to practice a lot of evil and sinning; such as shaving his beard, allowing his garments to drop lower than his ankles, smoking, listening to music, forsaking the prayer in congregation and maybe even forsaking prayers altogether or just some prayers. So when he ‘Ilatazam’ – adheres/practices, he shortens his garments, grows his beard, prays in congregation and prays the Sunnah prayers and accompanies those who are on this same path.

There is no doubt that being granted success to follow the prophetic guidance in clothing and conduct and preserving the prayer are from the greatest of blessings from our Lord to His servant, however;

There are some affairs of tremendous importance that a lot of people are heedless of, this is why I will take this opportunity to draw your attention to them, so that your uprightness is upon what your Lord loves and is pleased with.

Uprightness must be upon what Allah ordered His servants as He the Elevated said:

{So be upright as you were ordered}

Based upon this, you must have knowledge of what Allaah and His Messenger – صلى الله عليه وسلم – ordered you with so that you may be steadfast upon that. This means that you must study your religion and gain knowledge its rulings: “Whoever Allah wants good for, He would grant him knowledge and understanding of His religion.”

  1. The greatest affair that Allah has obligated upon you is monotheism, that you single him out with all forms of worship, such as Du’aa, Isti’aadha, Istighaathah, Rajaa, Tawakkul, Dhabh, Nadhr and other forms of worship whether they are physical or spiritual, whether they are actions or speech.

Monotheism has a lot of branches, so it is imperative that you give it a lot of attention by learning and understanding it. One of the best books authored concerning Monotheism is Kitaab at Tawheed by Shaykhul Islaam Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul Wahhaab, may Allaah have mercy upon him. (more…)

Wallaahi this is sad news. May Allah guide the Shi’a and protect Dammaj and its people.

Our brother Musa Millington may Allah preserve him on Trinimuslims mentions:

Insha Allah, we must remember the statement of the Prophet  that actions are more loved in these 10 days more than other days. And from these actions is to make du’a for your brothers.

Right now Dar Ul Hadeeth is being surrounded by the Rafidah Shi’a and they are stopping the transportation of necessities to Dar Ul Hadeeth, they have even gone as far as preventing some of the brothers from going to Hajj!!

Remember them in your du’a.

Ibn Abbaas (radiaAllaahu anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (sallaAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days.” They said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allaah?” He said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allaah, unless a man goes out himself for jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.”

Transcribed by:Umm Hasna Firdous Bint Jabir

Overview :

This is a lecture that should put the heart of every woman at ease. Though the life of a woman in Islaam may seem difficult to some who have no knowledge, or insight, Allaah Has promised Paradise for His righteous servants.

The brother starts the sermon with – Khutbatul-Haajah –

Today’s Khutbah is a reminder for myself and everyone else who is sitting here and all those who may hear about this khutbah and i.e. the prohibition of Ikhtilaaq – of freely mixing between male and female. Al Islaam has placed before us the ways to reduce the temptations of the fitnah of Nisaah and that is this ikhtilaaq (is freely mixing between a man and a woman) — a woman mixing with a man who does not have a mahram and this is prohibited in Islaam. This is the ways that destroys the society and this is the reason why we are going to speak about this today because it is the women who build the society. When you look at the society of today, we see that the women, they are amongst the people that are destroying the society. Because the strongest evidence that prohibits this mixing between men and women when Allaah Azzawajal says in Kitaab al-Azeez i.e. the Quraan :

“Allaah tabarak wa ta’ala commands the women to stay in their houses and He prohibits them from making this dazzling display of themselves.”

Why did Allaah tabarak wa ta’ala inform us thus? Why did He encourage them and command them to stay in their houses? It is because they will not be molested and they stay in their houses and remember Allaah subhana wa ta’ala and they will be protected in their houses. So that they can be protected from all of the evils that occur when they leave their house.

Yes, when we look at this ayat, look at today’s society na’am when you go and buy airline tickets, whom do you see? except women.

When you go to the bank, whom do you see? except women.

When you want to buy a car, whom do you see? except women.

When you want to pay your electricity bill / gas bill whom do you see? except women.

Na’am, they are the ones who are destroying the society. They are the ones who are allowing the destruction of the society. It is because we don’t want to listen to the guidance of Allaah subhana wa ta’ala. Because if you listen to the guidance and heed the guidance and implement the guidance and disseminate this guidance amongst the people we will be amongst the people who are successful. (more…)

The Hadeeth of Jibreel, ‘alayhis salaam:

‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab, radiAllaahu ‘anh, reported:

“While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allaah, salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, a man came up to us whose clothes were extremely white, whose hair was extremely black, upon whom traces of traveling could not be seen, and whom none of us knew, until he sat down close to the Prophet, salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, so that he rested his knees upon his knees and placed his two hands upon his thighs and said,

‘Yaa Muhammad, tell me about Islaam.’

The Messenger of Allaah, salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said,

‘Islam is that you witness that there is no god but Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, and you establish the prayer, and you give the Zakaat, and you fast Ramadhaan, and you perform the Hajj of the House if you are able to take a way to it.’

He said, ‘You have told the truth,’ and we were amazed at him asking him and [then] telling him that he told the truth.

He said, ‘Tell me about eemaan.’

He salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘That you affirm Allaah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and that you affirm the Decree, the good of it and the bad of it.’

He said, ‘You have told the truth.’

He said, ‘Tell me about Ihsaan.’

He salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘That you worship Allaah as if you see Him, for if you don’t see Him then truly He sees you.’

He said, ‘Tell me about the Hour.’

He salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘The one asked about it knows no more than the one asking.’

He said, ‘Then tell me about its tokens.’

He salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘That the female slave should give birth to her mistress, and you see poor, naked, barefoot shepherds of sheep and goats competing in making tall buildings.’

He went away, and I remained some time. Then he salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam asked, ‘ ‘Umar, do you know who the questioner was?’

I said, ‘Allaah and His Messenger know best.’

He salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘He was Jibreel who came to you to teach you your deen’.”
